Last Sunday, our children received the surprise visit from Kenya 7's Legend Humphrey Kayange. Children were very excited as they had the opportunity to spend some time with one of their heroes and role models. We are very happy and glad that Humphrey decided to take some time to come take a look at the talent that Kenya has to offer at a grassroots level. We hope that in the future his participation with SRF activities will be stronger, since we know that Humphrey has done so much for this sport not only in Kenya but worldwide.

We wish Humphrey and the Kenya 7's National Team all the best for the upcoming Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Go Humphrey!!! Go Shujaa!!!

Bristol Tour 2015

From November 18th to November 30th, 2015, 22 boys, aged 12-14, toured Bristol for our 2015 SRF International Tour. The children were hosted by families from Gordano RFC and St. Bede's Catholic College. It was a very successful tour. The boys and the staff had a lot of fun and enjoyed every bit of it. Here's a video edited by the Media people at Bristol Rugby.

A big thank you goes to Gary Townsend, and the entire Bristol Rugby team for making this video and allowing us to train in their facilities and meet their first team players.

Asante sana!

Creating links with the bests...

SRF are very happy to establish links with both Bristol Rugby and Bristol University Rugby Club. We were privileged to invite Gary Townsend,  Bristol Academy Development Manager and former RFU Player Development Manager U16-U20, to Kenya to run IRB level 1 to SRF coaches. Gary's trip has had a positive impact on the way SRF hopes to grow over the next few years. He has helped us change our coaching style to a more player-focused approach.

It's Game Time...
